how is odor an issue for you?
I try to work out (mostly running) during the work day. Since I do not have access to showering facilities at work, I need to be very conscious of temps and humidity as I would not be welocome back at work if I were to run on a hot day. I have needed to cancel plans to run/exercise on those occasions.
how did you test the shirt?
Skunk Cabbage 1/2 Marathon - Ithaca, NY The race director commented that it was the first time that I didn't smell worse than the skunk cabbage (well, on the right side, at least)
Mt Goat 10 Miler - Syracuse, NY
There were no sexual advances from any mountain goats this year (at least none that approached me from the right side).
Run Like The Wind 10K - Ellenville, NY
They used to say that when I finished, it was more like I ran the "Run While Passing Wind 10K". No one approaching me from the right side even brought that up this year. And, for the most part, the Porta Johns were the worst smelling thing @ the race for a change.
how did the shirt perform?
Skunk Cabbage - 1 hr 50 min
Mt Goat - 1 hr 33 min
Run Like The Wind - 54 min
In all three events, the difference was strikingly apparent. I was actually very surprised that there was that much difference. For both the Mt Goat and Run Like the wind, there wer 80 degree temps and fairly high humidity so it was a real test. I was impressed.
