how is odor an issue for you?
I have normal B.O. but it can be an issue during activities like kayaking and especially when wearing clothing that I haven't washed between activities since I often leave perspiration soaked clothing up to dry rather than throw it in with the other laundry that is dry in the hamper.
do you have any funny odor stories from your past?
The funny story relates to this test. I asked my wife to be the smell tester for the trial. She resisted but relented in the end. I asked her to smell my left armpit first and she did and recoiled at the smell. When I asked her to smell the right side she reluctantly leaned in at first and backed away with a funny look on her face. Not smelling anything, her brow furrowed and she leaned in a again a little closer - her contorted mouth told me she still smelled nothing. Then, she leaned in real far - nose to the fabric - a third time her brow deeply furrowed as in disbelief.
how did you test the shirt?
Wore twice next to skin. First time by itself. second time under outer layer of cotton and in a full dry-suit for 2.5 hours active duration brisk kayaking (6 miles) on Mount Hope Bay in the upper Narragansett in February 2010.
how did the shirt perform?
No odor whatsoever on right side. Foul smell on left side - as typical. After two uses and no cleaning in between - NO SMELL AT ALL on right side.
What other products would you like to see Agion Active in?
Wet suit and bootie liners. They cannot be laundered and are left to dry. They stink up whole rooms not to mention the foul smell endured to put them on. Only way to clean and deodorize is to soak in bleach solution - a mess to deal with a smelly too.
