how is odor an issue for you?

When your hiking for multiple days on end laundry is the last thing you want to do when you stop for the night. Extra clothes mean extra weight to carry on your back, so I tend to stick to the minimum. Even though you may be clean, your clothes make you look and smell like a hobo.

how did you test the shirt?

In October 2009 I quit my job to go travel through Asia. I tested the Agion shirt on a 10 day trek in Nepal. A friend and I arrived in Kathmandu Nepal with no real plan as to where we were headed. Based on the budget (tiny) and time frame (flying out in 2 weeks) a trek to Everest Base Camp fit was a perfect fit for both restrictions. It took us 7 days to hike up (and up and up and up) topping out at 18,500ft at 4:30AM on a summit called Kala Patthar to watch the sunrise over Mount Everest. After that it was another 3 days of knee destroying downhill back down to the jumpoff point of Lukla.

how did the shirt perform?

In the high Himalaya range, the cost of a shower can easily cost more than a days accommodation and food combined. On top of that, most hot showers come from burning wood to heat the water. So most showering was done in the form of baby wipes and laundry was done by hand in cold water. After 10 days, the Agion shirt had no smell to it whatsoever, but unfortunately it was on me, and I needed a shower badly.
